Five years ago, while working as an investigative reporter, Kang Baekjun went undercover to expose a sinister cult operating in a remote rural village. The deep-seated trauma from the horrific incident he suffered there forced him to abandon investigative journalism altogether.

Now working as an entertainment reporter, Baekjun finds himself on the brink of losing his job due to poor performance. Desperate to save his career, he takes on an exclusive interview with Seo Yohan, a hugely popular rookie model.

However, Yohan acts as if he has known Baekjun for a very long time, deliberately unearthing the dark, forgotten horrors Baekjun tried so hard to bury. As Yohan corners him, he whispers a chillingly intimate plea:
