A man is found murdered in an apartment at 19 Sunset Street. The prime suspect is Leon Devonport, the victim's lover, and all evidence found at the scene of the death seems to point to him. To prove his innocence, Leon seeks out Benjamin Wolf, a once-famous detective who has now retired from murder cases due to an incident in his past.
